Birdie's Sauerkraut and Pork

  • 2 lbs of lean pork
    (tenderloin, roast or chops)
  • 1 16oz package of sauerkraut with juices
  • 1 lb of brown sugar
    (light or dark)

    Place the meat in the bottom of a slow cooker.
    Spread the sauerkraut over the top of the meat.
    Spread the brown sugar over the top of the sauerkraut.
    Cook on low for approximately 6 hours.

    Serve with a tossed salad and light rye bread.
